You're Going to Die

You're going to die in my arms one day when all the lights go out and floors of your comfort waver for a second longer than the last breath you take.
You're going to die without knowing the questions to the answers rattling in the bones left for earthly stew when they make.
Your going to die tired, alone, broken, unhinged, broke, mistaken and left behind with a smile shadowed upon your lips.
Your going to die, embrace it.

You're going to die with a sense of failure lodged in your heart harpoon big fish small pond syndrome. Your going to die cowderly, sick and sullen Graves shallow water rising..
You're  going to die but none of these belong to you.

You're going to season yourself before raging love sprinkling joy. You're going to die dancing on the midnight clouds flirting with the dawn. You're going to die knowledgeable and peaceful subject to more enlighten conversations to the Moon and her lovers. You're going to die trying to make a difference in yourself so that others may see their own light. You're going to die magnificently. You're going to die in concert with others who have waited for your arrival in celebration. You're going to die...but live first.  Robin Ward (Red Breast) <3
