Guide Through Depression

Depression isn't what people think.

At first glance, you may think the person is sad and just needs to be happier or to change their environment or to put on clothes that make them feel good or whatever else they can think of which makes them happy but, this does not make depression happy.

Depression comes in many forms shapes and sizes. Not all depression is created equal. Some are just as left field as PTSD, seasonal will not look like trauma and trauma does not look like situational. There are many levels and chemical balances that make up depression. Those who experience seasonal can not just go get a tan and feel better and those who have had trauma can not just talk to a shrink and feel better. Human discord starts and ends in the body. On 1 level, we store memory in the muscles. This means connective tissues, bones, ligaments,  hair follicles, blood pressure and chemicals are not just energetic experience, it's a body level feeling. Energetic has it place with depression but let's stay focused on the body first.

As we grow into human beings realized, we pick up nuances of human behavior from those we encounter. We add or subtract personalities we need, for whatever reason, traits and other life altering characteristics  that help us along the way to deal with unique situations. Some  of what we pick up isn't bad or good, it just is. What we decide to do with that information and how we use it shapes us a different way. When Depression comes to mind, the information is different, the experience is different, the meaning behind the experience is different and thus creates a part of you that isn't your true self. people will not know how to navigate your outward behavior much like you won't. The  cycle is looping, stagnant and perpetuating. Having the proper tools to navigate through said experience is key but who has this information before the symptoms? The information gathered isn't the end all be all as far as medical mental and energetic health is concerned. When mind body energy is considered, you may have a whole new perspective on Depression.

I had severe Depression at one time with an acute PTSD stemming from extreme loss, trauma and the absence of proper coping tools to move forward. All in all, I came out mostly unscathed, mostly. Intimacy, self doubt, social anxeity, new people, bars, clubs it's all a hazard. No longer the social butterfly. Becoming a recluse more and more as time goes on wishing for a different outcome, none recieved. Not all is doom and gloom. There is light at the end of the tunnel. You have to want to be better and get better, I sure as he'll wanted all the things. Being a depressed person and body was not why I was put on this earth.

I strive to feel better be better do better everyday and everyday I get to try. I hope this snippet was helpful. I hope you find peace. I hope you find love, for yourself ❤
